Terms of Participation

Membership

Lodgement of registration for a season of play constitutes an application for membership to Emerald City Kickball Inc. for one calendar year from the date of registration.  Membership does not entitle registrants to further seasons of play within the membership year.  Members are encouraged to understand the governance structure and their entitlements under the current Constitution, and agree to act in accordance with the Constitution and League By-Laws.

Covid-19

All committee members, players, referee's and spectators will need to be double-dose vaccinated from Covid-19 in accordance with NSW Government guidelines, and will need to check in prior to games with the Covid Safe Check in smart phone app.

Anti-Harrassment Non-Discrimination Policy

Emerald City Kickball Inc. does not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment based on actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, active duty or military veteran status or status in any group otherwise protected by federal, state, territory or local law, in accordance with applicable laws.

All participants of Emerald City Kickball Inc have an obligation to respect their fellow participants and refrain from any discriminatory or harassing behavior. With respect to harassment, the league specifically prohibits the following:

• Offensive comments, jokes, innuendoes, derogatory statements or visual behavior concerning a protected category including, but not limited to, sexually oriented statements. This includes transmitting or distributing any pornographic, offensive, defamatory, obscene or discriminatory information in conjunction with any League-affiliated communication.
• Any conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, including, but not limited to, repeated, offensive, or unwelcome comments, gestures, flirtations, advances, or verbal abuse.
• Inappropriate physical contact, including, but not limited to, sexually suggestive touching or fondling.

Photo Release

I acknowledge and consent to photographs and electronic images being taken of me during my participation in any Emerald City Kickball Inc activity. I acknowledge and agree that such photographs and electronic images are owned by Emerald City Kickball Inc and each of them may use the photographs for promotional or other purposes without my further consent being necessary. Further, I consent to Emerald City Kickball Inc using my name, image, likeness and also my performance, at any time, by any form of media related to promotion of Emerald City Kickball Inc.

No Refund Policy

Emerald City Kickball Inc does not offer refunds. Please double-check all registration purchases before paying. In the event a registration is canceled because of misrepresentation by a player, a $10 service fee will be charged.
